I’m Ollie. I packed my stable and comfortable bar job of 7 years in to try the nomadic lifestyle for a while. I’m traveling with a friend and others along the way without much of a plan, hoping to see as much of the world as I can.
I feel like I’ve had traveling in my blood since being young. When I was 13 my mum and I drove a lorry from our home town Huddersfield, England all the way to the Ukraine with supplies to set up a school for children with disabilities. It took about a month I think and was one of the best experiences of my childhood. It definitely made me want to see more of the world.
I have also inter railed around Europe twice with friends.
We have always had active holidays when we were children. None of us are the relaxing by the pool every day kind of people.
Hopefully I’ll be able to do this for as long as possible. Working along the way. The first stop was Hong Kong for a wedding and then Vietnam. We’re not sure where next.
And this is Alistair. The chump I’ll be traveling with for god knows how long. We’ve been friends for about 7 years. (He can write his own bio when I next see him)
